Client Case Study: Nagoya Women’s Marathon
PMPR was tasked to globally promote the news that Nagoya Women’s Marathon was offering the 2022 winner a prize of US$250,000, the largest first place prize in world marathon running at that time.
PMPR generated more than 110 articles across 6 continents in more than 10 languages including coverage in the most populated countries in the world: China, India, USA, Brazil etc. Articles appeared in influential sports publications like World Athletics, global running site Distance Running, and Track & Field ‘the Bible of Athletics’ in the USA. All this within the context that women’s sport normally only receives 6% of sport coverage globally.
